Initially, I started photography as a way to capture fleeting moments of my daughter, but found love behind the camera telling stories of others.

I am a wife, a mom, and an ER nurse, I already had fulfillment in my life and then photography found me, urging me to share my passion.

Photography gives me an outlet to paint a portrait without brushes and see a glimpse of someone else’s story.

The name Ellyson East comes from my daughter and my roots, my only daughter’s middle name is Ellyson & we are from the Eastern part of the United States, hence Ellyson East. The two biggest parts of who I am are my daughter and my home town.

📍   my home base is Wise, Virginia, but I eagerly anticipate all the places photography will take me. Let me capture love for you through my lens.
